In 1965, Tom Phillips discovered a Victorian book, A Human Document, by W.H. Mallock, which he later started reworking it as A Humument, a labour of love process that continues to this day.

‘It beckoned me on as it yielded strange words and provoked new images,’ he says.  All 367 full-colour pages of A Humument is now available for iphone and ipad with 39 new, previously unpublished pages, and an oracle function which will offer you alternative ways of reading it.
